The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to announce its participation as an Expo Partner at the IDC CIO Summit & Awards Canada 2026, taking place on November 19, 2026, at Delta Hotels Toronto.
This year’s summit, themed The Rise of Agentic Systems, will bring together CIOs, IT executives, cybersecurity professionals, and technology leaders to explore emerging innovations and the future of digital transformation.
ERA looks forward to connecting with attendees and demonstrating how secure data destruction, responsible electronics recycling, and technology reuse can help organizations protect sensitive information while supporting sustainability.
Experience ERA’s Hard Drive Shredder in Action
One of the highlights of ERA’s participation will be a live demonstration of our industrial hard drive shredder.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see how physical hard drive destruction works and learn why proper data disposal is essential for businesses of all sizes.
Our team will be available to discuss:
- Secure Data Destruction: Protecting confidential business information through certified data wiping and physical hard drive shredding.
- Electronics Recycling: Responsibly managing outdated computers, laptops, servers, and other electronic equipment.
- IT Asset Disposition (ITAD): Helping businesses securely retire unwanted technology.
- Corporate Sustainability: Reducing electronic waste through refurbishment, reuse, and recycling.
- Community Donations: Giving retired electronics a second life by providing refurbished technology to charities, schools, and nonprofit organizations.
Turning Retired Electronics Into Community Impact
Since 2004, ERA has been committed to reducing electronic waste and bridging the digital divide across Canada.
Through partnerships with businesses and organizations, ERA collects unwanted electronics, securely removes sensitive data, and refurbishes reusable equipment for donation to communities in need.
A computer that is no longer useful to a business could become an essential educational tool for a student or help a nonprofit deliver important community programs.
By choosing ERA, organizations can strengthen their data security practices while making a positive environmental and social impact.
Connect With ERA in Toronto!
As technology continues to evolve, secure IT asset management and responsible electronics disposal remain essential.
ERA is looking forward to meeting industry professionals, sharing our expertise, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
