Extending a Hand: ERA Supports Homeless Outreach with Laptops

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently donated three laptops to Extend a Hand – Homeless Outreach, a non-profit organization based in Ontario. These laptops will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s mission of providing assistance to the homeless community.

The first laptop will enhance outreach and support by enabling Extend a Hand to present their mission to businesses and seek support. It will be used for Zoom meetings. as well as facilitating tasks such as creating presentations, writing letters, and working on Excel spreadsheets. The second laptop will streamline financial management for Extend a Hand’s CFO, as it will be utilized for creating and managing spreadsheets using accounting software. Lastly, the third laptop will empower Extend a Hand’s V.P. of Communications to enhance communications and multimedia content.

Extend A Hand – Homeless Outreach is a non-profit organization dedicated to directly assisting homeless individuals living on the streets of Toronto and surrounding areas. Their unwavering mission is to bring respect and dignity to all those affected by homelessness, providing essential support such as food, clothing, and shelter.

Amidst the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, homelessness has become even more prevalent across Canada, intensifying the need for organizations like Extend a Hand – Homeless Outreach. ERA’s donation of laptops will significantly enhance the organization’s outreach efforts and capacity to support those in need.
