The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) donated tech to the Stratford Pride Community Centre in Stratford, Ontario. The donation, comprising a laptop, a projector, and a desktop computer, is set to big changes within the center’s operations.
The laptop and desktop are here to replace old PCs and give the center’s tech setup a fresh start. But they’re not just for paperwork—they’ll be the center’s new hub for all sorts of important stuff. From keeping their website running smoothly to starting up online programs, these gadgets mean the center can reach out to more people than ever before.
And let’s not forget the projector! This little device is going to be a game-changer for the center’s events. It’ll make presentations more exciting and open up all kinds of new possibilities for workshops, movie nights, and community gatherings.
The Stratford Pride Community Centre’s door is open for everyone to spend their free time, no matter their age, romantic and sexual orientation, or their identity. The SPCC’s purpose is to provide a safe and supportive 2SLGBTQIA+forward community space that applies a for& by organizational principle to promote diversity, inclusion and understanding where the expression of one’s gender and sexual identity is welcomed and respected.
