Founded in 1932, Le Chaînon’s mission is to welcome women in difficulty, unconditionally and without judgment. Le Chaînon offers them safe accommodation, help, and support tailored to their needs. At the Chaînon, they carry out, with the help of experienced counselors, an approach that promotes their return to autonomy, personal and social power.
Women receive professional support in an environment that encourages the most egalitarian relationships possible. Their goal is to promote the defense of women’s rights – with women. Their culture is expressed in the way they act, to intervene and to work together.
This laptop will be donated to a woman within the shelter to help with social and personal skills. She will be able to connect with family and friends, near and far. This laptop will be a way for their client to progress in life and better themselves in today’s society.
