We were thrilled to team up with MLA Oneil John Carlier to donate 16 computers and 1 laptop to 3 organizations. These organizations were personally picked by the MLA himself. Oneil John Carlier is a Canadian politician who was elected in the Alberta general election, 2015 to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta representing the electoral district of Whitecourt-Ste. Anne. He is currently Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Forestry in the Alberta Cabinet.

Wildwood, Entwistle & Evansburg (WEE) Foodbank, Sangudo Library and Wellspring Family Resource and Crisis Centre were the three organizations to all receive a donation of laptops or computers.

Wildwood, Entwistle & Evansburg (WEE) Foodbank is a volunteer organization that supplies food to those in need in the Evansburg, Entwistle and Wildwood area. They received 2 computers that will be used within their office for daily tasks and to store important documents. Their mission is to supply food to those in need.

Wellspring Family Resource and Crisis Centre is for women in crisis (with or without children), with priority given to women fleeing abuse. Safe, secure, short-term accommodation is provided in a respectful and confidential manner. All of their services are free. They received 2 computers and 1 laptop which will be used to by their staff for daily tasks. Their mission is to become a catalyst that redefines the way that rural communities think about individuals in crisis.

The last donation went to the Sangudo Library. They received 12 computers which will be an addition to their computer lab so that the public can utilize them as they see fit. Sangudo Public Library is also a member of the Yellowhead Regional Library.
