The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is partnering with the RA Centre to host a FREE Secure Electronics Recycling Event in Ottawa on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The event will take place at the RA Centre, 2451 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, ON K1H 7X7, in the East Parking Lot and is being held in recognition of Circular Economy Month.
Give Unwanted Electronics a Second Life
Ottawa businesses, organizations, and community members are encouraged to bring their unwanted, unused, or decommissioned electronics for responsible recycling.
Accepted electronics include:
- Laptops and desktop computers
- Smartphones and cell phones
- Tablets
- Other eligible electronic devices
ERA follows a reuse-first approach, working to refurbish suitable electronics whenever possible so they can be donated to charities, nonprofits, schools, and community organizations in need. Electronics that cannot be reused are responsibly recycled, helping keep electronic waste out of landfills.
Protect Your Data While Supporting the Circular Economy
Data security is an important consideration when disposing of old electronics. ERA provides secure handling of collected devices to help businesses and individuals responsibly manage electronics that may contain sensitive information.
