On October 22, 2022 the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), Green Calgary and IKEA partnered together for a Waste Reduction Week Event. The event helped the residents in Calgary, AB safely and securely recycle their unwanted electronics.
Despite the bad weather, many vehicles came through the IKEA parking lot to donate unwanted electronic devices such as hard drives, computers, laptops, phones, tablets, tapes and other small devices storing sensitive data. Citizens where able to securely destroyed OR wiped clean and re-used for FREE in support of Waste Reduction Week.
