Volunteer Days in Support of Sustainability and Social Impact
The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) extends heartfelt thanks to the Telus team for generously volunteering their time on May 13 and 14, 2025, as part of Telus Days of Giving. Their support reflects a deep commitment to environmental responsibility, corporate citizenship, and building stronger communities through action.
Over the course of two days, Telus volunteers rolled up their sleeves at ERA’s facility to assist in preparing donated electronic equipment for reuse. From sorting cables and hard drives to testing devices, organizing laptop bags, and handling RAM, the Telus team played a vital role in helping ERA ensure that electronics are repurposed responsibly rather than ending up in landfills.
This hands-on support not only furthers ERA’s mission of reducing electronic waste and bridging the digital divide—it also serves as a powerful example of how corporate volunteerism can create lasting social and environmental impact.
