By electronic recycling association February 7, 2023

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is thankful for the support of our generous donors that allow us to continue providing free computers to charitable organizations and individuals in need. Shell Canada helped us provide 20 laptops to McMan Youth, Family & Community Service in Calgary.   This donation will go to clients they serve who do not have the technology that allows them to stay connected with McMan’s staff or even their family and friends.

McMan Youth, Family and Community Services Association of Calgary & Area is a responsive and innovative organization making a difference in the lives of close to 3000 vulnerable children, youth and families annually.

They support children, youth and families with complex needs that can include mental health issues, addiction, homelessness, poverty, and disability by providing them with the services and supports they need to thrive. As a fundamental practice across all McMan’s services, they work with individuals to help them maintain and grow relationships that can extend beyond their professional support- life-long connections that can help people sustain, and build on, their strengths and new skills.

With the mission to support and encourage individuals and families to achieve their full potential as members of their community.
