Are you eager to make a positive impact on both your community and the environment? Circle the date on your calendar for the Mount Royal Community Association’s Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at St. Maria Goretti Community School (301 Avenue Q N) in Saskatoon, SK.

Teaming up with the Mount Royal community, the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) offers a hassle-free and eco-conscious solution for disposing of unwanted electronics. By simply dropping off your unwanted electronics, you’ll play a part in supporting a noble cause while safeguarding the environment.

Accepted items for drop-off include desktop and laptop computers, tablets, cell phones, smart phones, home phones, printers, servers, handheld electronics (like mp3 players, gaming consoles, etc.), stereo equipment, cameras, USB keys, and other storage devices, cords, cables, and peripherals (such as mice, keyboards, CDs, DVDs, etc.). Note that old tube TVs, microwaves, and personal appliances will not be accepted.

The ERA will refurbish the collected electronics and distribute them to organizations and individuals in need, furnishing reliable technology to support programs assisting Canadians facing poverty, health issues, or other hardships. By donating your old electronics, you’re not just preventing them from ending up in landfills; you’re also contributing to a worthy cause.

Take a step towards creating a better community by participating in the Mount Royal Community Association’s Cleanup Day event alongside the ERA. Drop off your unwanted electronics, and leave the rest to us!
