The Lougheed House made great use of their last donation from ERA and needed a couple more laptops for school programs. The ERA was happy to be able to provide them with 2 more laptops. Although they are currently closed due to Covid-19, teachers can use the new Virtual Museum of Canada online exhibit, Conflicting Loyalties: The Hardisty Family Legacy, to teach students about Lady Isabella Lougheed’s fascinating life story and identity.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Electronic Recycling Association has seen a surge for laptop and computer requests from organizations in need across Canada. Along with the rise in requests, there has been a substantial decrease in the amount of inventory we have available for donation. Imperial Oil heard our plea and came forward to provide us with an impressive contribution.
