Kingston, ON-area community had a chance to do some spring cleaning and rid themselves of any electronic waste sitting around the house last Saturday, April 15th, 2023.
St. Lawrence College Project Management students and the Enactus SLC team annual event diverts used electronics from landfills and is held in collaboration with the Electronic Recycling Association, which will assess the collected electronics and either recycle or repair and redistribute them to give new life to the otherwise discarded items.
Since 2019, ERA and students have helped to divert more than 20 tonnes of electronics at the event.
