Join us on March 23, 2024, as we mark the 20th anniversary of Fraud Prevention Month alongside the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) and the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Police Service in Quebec.
From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, swing by the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu police station located at 325 MacDonald Street, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC J3B 8J3. We’ll be facilitating the secure disposal of electronic devices. Bring along your unwanted electronics—be it laptops, gaming consoles, printers, or more. Be assured, ERA’s hard drive shredder will securely obliterate your sensitive data, safeguarding your privacy. ERA offers this service at no cost, including the destruction of hard drives and the collection of electronics, including cell phones with batteries removed.
Besides electronic recycling, officers from the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Police Service and ERA members will be present to provide valuable insights into data safety and fraud prevention.
We accept a wide array of devices, including consumer electronics, desktop computers, handheld devices, laptops, printers, peripherals, phone systems, servers, software, and specialty items such as Cisco networking equipment. Kindly refrain from bringing personal or household appliances.
This event transcends privacy protection—it’s about making a positive environmental impact too. By responsibly recycling your electronics, you contribute to reducing electronic waste and minimizing our ecological footprint.
So, mark your calendars and spread the word! Let’s come together on March 23 to safeguard our privacy, nurture the environment, and enrich our community. We eagerly anticipate your presence!
