The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has made a generous contribution to the Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health, donating two laptops and a tablet to support their silent auction. This event, the inaugural “Aloha Gala: A Taste of Hawaii to Change the Face of Mental Health,” aims to raise funds and awareness for the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) and its pioneering mental health care initiatives.
The gala will shine a spotlight on the Adolescent Eating Disorders Unit at Ontario Shores, honoring the experts who are at the forefront of transforming mental health care. By emphasizing the critical need for funding, the event underscores the vital role that Ontario Shores plays in the community.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by mental health challenges.
The Electronic Recycling Association donates refurbished technology and IT devices to a number of different organizations across Canada, varying from non-profits, charities, schools, and care centers. The ERA is proud to support the communities we operate in and work towards creating a future where technology isn’t a barrier to any individual. The ERA believes that providing laptops to the less fortunate enables unimaginable outcomes and advances in the digital era. In a world where technology links people together, our donated laptops and computers also aid in keeping recipients connected with loved ones.
