The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently donated two laptops and a desktop computer to Fred Victor, a charitable organization based in Toronto, Ontario.
Many of Fred Victor’s clients lack access to a computer, making essential tasks such as ordering food, supplies, medication, and managing their finances challenging. The donated devices will play a crucial role in providing laptops to clients, both parents and children.
Fred Victor is a social service charitable organization committed to creating lasting and positive changes in the lives of homeless and low-income individuals throughout Toronto. Their programs and services are utilized daily by over 3,000 people, each of whom is facing the challenges of poverty and homelessness.
Fred Victor’s many programs and services, located at 25+ different sites across Toronto, help people rebuild their lives by offering:
- Affordable housing
- Transitional housing
- Shelters and Emergency Respite Sites
- Food access services
- Job training and counseling
- Health information and community services

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is an organization that stands at the forefront of addressing the digital divide in Canada. Our mission is clear: to work with charities across the country and provide refurbished electronics for their programs. This includes laptops, computers, and other essential technology that can be a game-changer for individuals and families facing financial hardship.
Get involved with the Electronic Recycling Association and help work towards a future without e-waste. Invite the ERA to your community cleanup, host an e-waste fundraiser, spend some time volunteering at the ERA, or initiate an e-waste collection at your business.
Consider dropping off your pre-loved electronics to ERA and we will work to donate them to those who need them most!
