ERA, Green Calgary & IKEA Host An Electronic Collection Event

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to partner with Green Calgary, and IKEA for a Electronic Recycling & Collection Event.

Join us on October 22, 2022, as we team up to help you donate your unwanted electronics. When you donate your unwanted electronics to ERA you not only declutter, but you also support sustainability in your community!

Event Dates:

Date: October 22, 2022

Time: 10am-2pm

Location: IKEA/ 8000 11 St., S.E. Calgary, AB, Canada T2H 3B2 (parking lot)

Do you have old electronics piling up? Bring them by the cleanup to securely destroy your personal data and recycle unwanted electronics with the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA).

ERA accepted items include:

  • Laptops/Computers
  • Computer parts (motherboards, hard drives, etc.)
  • Keyboards, mice, wires/cables
  • Mobile phones
  • Gaming consoles
  • Stereo equipment
  • Software (operating, editing, design)
  • CD/DVD and cards
  • Lab equipment

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 to address the growing problem of e-waste and the increasing ‘digital divide’. For over fifteen years, ERA has offered simple solutions to help individuals and organizations prevent operational equipment from premature destruction. With a focus on recovery, refurbishment and reuse, ERA continuously supplies charitable groups with donated IT equipment while securely managing the retiring IT assets of organizations and individuals across Canada.
