The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) recently teamed up with Kildonan Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, for a special e-waste collection event that turned out to be a great success. The community came together to make a positive impact, and we are thrilled to announce that we diverted an impressive 3,000 lbs of electronic waste from landfills!
Our goal at ERA is to reduce the harmful effects of e-waste by responsibly recycling and refurbishing electronics. Through this event, we collected a variety of devices, including old computers, laptops, phones, and more. Items that can be refurbished will be donated to local charities in need, ensuring that they continue to serve a purpose and benefit others in the community.
If you were unable to attend the event but still have electronics you’d like to recycle, don’t worry! You can visit our warehouse in Winnipeg (#403, 1200 Sherwin Rd, Winnipeg, MB, R3H 0K4), where we continue to accept e-waste donations year-round. Help us in our mission to reduce electronic waste and support charitable causes across the region.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the event, and a special thank you to Kildonan Place for partnering with us to make this initiative a success. Together, we’re making a difference!
