The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce a recent donation with Shell Canada, a long-standing client and supporter of our donations program. Together, we recently donated a laptop to the Jasper Place Wellness Centre in Edmonton, Alberta to support their clients in need.
The Jasper Place Wellness Centre is a community hub that provides essential services and resources to residents in the Edmonton area. Their programs and initiatives focus on improving mental and physical health, promoting social connectedness, and supporting people in achieving their goals. The Centre’s clients come from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances, and many face financial or technological barriers that make it difficult to access education and employment opportunities.
This is where ERA and Shell Canada stepped in. As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting sustainability and social responsibility, we donated a refurbished laptop to the Jasper Place Wellness Centre that will be given to one of their clients who needs it to complete their education. The laptop will help this individual access online learning resources, complete assignments, and pursue their academic goals.
Shell Canada has been a huge contributor to our donations program, and we are grateful for their ongoing support. Without the involvement of organizations like Shell Canada, ERA would not be able to help as many organizations and individuals as we do every year.
At ERA, we believe that every person should have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed.
