By electronic recycling association August 14, 2023

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is excited to announce its recent donation to the Adopt-A-Grad Foundation of Canada in Airdrie, AB. As part of our commitment to fostering innovation and connectivity within communities, ERA has donated 4 laptops, a monitor, and a projector to support Adopt-A-Grad’s valuable work.

The laptops will be used by Adopt-A-Grad’s primary officers and a dedicated team member who will focus on external communications and design elements. This technology infusion will empower Adopt-A-Grad to enhance their outreach efforts and efficiently manage their operations. The projector, a welcome addition, will greatly assist in delivering informative sessions and impactful presentations to schools and the community, allowing Adopt-A-Grad to extend their reach and engagement.

Recognizing the importance of comprehensive support, ERA is also dedicated to providing a printer at a later date to further strengthen Adopt-A-Grad’s capabilities. This multifaceted donation is a testament to ERA’s commitment to enabling organizations like Adopt-A-Grad to flourish and make a lasting impact on their communities.

Adopt-A-Grad Foundation of Canada is a remarkable organization working closely with school leadership students and families facing challenges related to graduation costs. Their community-based approach, which includes providing assistance for school fees, banquet tickets, formal wear, and more, exemplifies their dedication to helping individuals achieve their educational goals.

By donating electronic devices, ERA is not only reducing electronic waste but also enabling local charitable organizations to thrive. The laptops, projector, and future printer donation will empower Adopt-A-Grad to expand its programs, onboard additional staff and volunteers, and offer digital education initiatives to a diverse range of community members.

At the Electronic Recycling Association, we strive to help foster a community of innovation and connectivity. As a non-profit ourselves, we see first-hand what supporting the communities we operate in does for those living there. Providing electronic devices allows these charitable organizations to continue in their mission of bringing people together in a creative space.

Reusing electronics to create a new community program reduces how much e-waste ends up in our landfills. If you’re not using a printer, laptop, or projector, many organizations that operate locally in your town or city could greatly benefit from it. Donating a laptop to the ERA means another organization will be able to utilize it to start a new program, on-board more administrative staff/volunteers, or teach youth and seniors a new digital program. As our society continues to advance in technology faster than ever, the demand for updated electronics to support these community initiatives increases as well.
