Enthusiastically joining forces, the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is embarking on an exciting partnership with Repsol Energy to lend a helping hand to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). In a remarkable demonstration of support, they are extending a generous offering of free technology resources including 10 laptops and 10 cell phones. These devices will support low-income clients of CHMA with the resources needed to thrive.

Canadian Mental Health Association Calgary builds awareness and provides education and support for individuals and families living with a mental health or substance use concern. It is their mission to be a leader in reducing the impact of mental illness and addiction in community. For more than 65 years, they have provided a person and family-centred integrated service model focused on early intervention and prevention of a mental health or substance use concern that delivers a measurable increase in community resiliency. Visit their website HERE for more information.

Harnessing a wealth of expertise accumulated over eight decades, Repsol stands as a prominent figure within the realm of the oil and gas sector. Reverberating across the entirety of the value chain, from exploration and production to transformation, development, and energy marketing, Repsol’s prowess remains unwavering. Its commitment is directed towards furnishing millions with energy that embodies efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness.

The ERA works with charities across the country to provide refurbished electronics for their programs. This gives them access to reliable technology while allowing them to apply their resources to what they’re good at: developing programs to help Canadians struggling with poverty, health concerns or are otherwise experiencing misfortune. Because the Electronic Recycling Association is an advocate of equality, we are not specifically affiliated with a given charity. The ERA helps hundreds of charitable organizations each year through the donation of necessary computer equipment. Organizations qualified for donations through ERA’s donation program include: registered charities, non-profit organizations, care facilities (seniors homes, hospitals, daycares, etc.) and educational institutions.

We strive to meet reasonable requests for IT and related equipment, such as computers, laptops, projection equipment, printers, phones and related peripherals. Our goal is to fulfill every single reasonable request for a computer donation that we receive, and we are thrilled to announce that we are getting close to achieving this goal. Since 2004, we have donated thousands of computers to Canadians in need and this number grows daily. Check out our list of charities currently in need by clicking HERE.
