ERA & Winnipeg BBB Donates 15 Computers Local Charity

Clients at the Altered Minds Inc are working on new-to-them electronic equipment thanks to a partnership between the ­Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), Better Business Bureau serving Manitoba and NW Ontario (BBB) and the BBB Education Foundation of Manitoba.

The ERA is excited to announce that the partnership donated 15 desktop computers that were refurbished following a recycling event held in Winnipeg this past September by the BBB.  Altered Minds Inc non-profit organization that welcomes refugees and immigrants to Manitoba and promotes the well-being of their families and communities by providing responsive programs and services that assist individuals in adapting to change and overcoming barriers to a good quality of life. This donation will be provided to Altered Minds Inc’s low-income clients who attend their computer classes so that they have a computer for home use to practice the skills learned in the classroom.
