ERA’s Computer Donation Transforms Alberta Theatre Projects with Tech Upgrade

By electronic recycling association October 25, 2023

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has recently donated 8 computers and 4 laptops to Alberta Theatre Projects in Calgary, AB. This generous contribution represents a significant milestone for the theater, as it seeks to address persistent performance issues stemming from outdated technology. The theater had been grappling with ongoing problems caused by its aging systems, the majority of which were more than five years old. These issues had been impeding its ability to effectively serve the community.

This technological upgrade couldn’t have come at a more opportune time. The COVID-19 pandemic had disrupted the theater’s operations, and they were in the process of getting back on their feet. However, the urgent need to replace their outdated equipment remained a pressing concern. ERA’s donation has equipped the theater with the essential tools necessary to improve its operations and better cater to its audience in the modern era.
