The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) has made a tech donation to Nkonga Centre Afro-francophone de Halton. This donation, which includes a laptop, two monitors, and a projector, aims to enhance the educational opportunities for children from low-income families in the region.
The donated devices will be instrumental in aiding children from these immigrant families who often face challenges in completing schoolwork at home due to a lack of operational computer tools. With the integration of these essential technologies, the Nkonga Centre will be better equipped to support the educational needs of these children, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed in their studies.
Many of the families served by the Nkonga Centre lack the means to provide adequate technological tools for their children. This donation from ERA is more than just a gift; it is a lifeline that will help bridge the digital divide, enabling these children to keep up with their peers and excel academically. The impact of such a donation extends beyond the classroom, fostering a more inclusive and equitable community.
If you want to make a difference to both people in need, and the environment, then it’s time to start electronic recycling with the ERA. And it’s not as difficult as it seems. We here at the Electronic Recycling Association have made it easy for everyone. If there is any electronic device – cell phone, tablets, laptop – that you want to donate, we will take it off your hands.
You can either drop it off at one of our depots located across Canada or we can organize a pick-up at a time that suits you. It’s that easy!
