Focus School in Ontario Receives a Computer

We were delighted to donate an iMac to the Focus School of Theatre, Arts and Filmmaking. They are a Non-profit Organization for Children and Youth, working in the field of Film, Arts and Education. Their goal is to promote Arts in general within the community at large.

They encourage and develop interest and promote creative activities of children and youth in Arts with emphasis on Film/Media Arts and Theatre;

– They create, establish and maintain after-school programs facilities and equipment;

– They advance their students’ knowledge and practical skills in Arts through classes, workshops, seminars, tutoring, educational support and coaching;

– They provide technical and artistic support to the students’ creative projects in Film, Animation, Theatre, Music, Dance and Visual Arts;

– They promote the students’ creative projects through participation and/or organization of performances, exhibitions, concerts and festivals;

Speaking with the Executive Director, Genadijs Dolganovs he expressed his thanks, “On behalf of FOCUS School and all our students – a big thank you to you and era.ca! Also, please pass our huge thank you to the donors of the iMac!”

This device will benefit the schools editing class so that kids between 6 and 12 years old can learn editing, graphic design and voice over in class as well as to be able to prepare/create and copy learning material.
