With a sense of pride, the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) and Repsol Energy have come together to extend their support to the Centre for Newcomers (CFN). A valuable contribution of 10 laptops has been made to empower refugees, enabling them to access English classes and utilize the devices for various academic pursuits. ERA regards its alliance with Repsol as a highly respected partnership and eagerly anticipates the prospect of continued collaboration for forthcoming donations.

Since 1988 the Centre for Newcomers (CFN) has been a key resource for immigrants and refugees of all nationalities in Calgary. A social profit organization, CFN views the integration of newcomers as a two-way process of experience, influence and impact between newcomers and the communities that welcome them. Visit their website HERE for more information.

Boasting an impressive legacy of over eight decades, Repsol stands as a premier entity within the realm of oil and gas. Their pervasive presence spans the entirety of the value chain, encompassing exploration, production, transformation, development, and the strategic distribution of energy. This energy, distinguished by its efficiency, sustainability, and competitive edge, serves the needs of millions worldwide.

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is fully dedicated to handling old electronic and IT equipment responsibly, with a focus on reducing waste and being kind to the environment. We’re a non-profit organization that’s deeply connected to local communities. What makes us stand out is our strong commitment to reusing things whenever possible and our efforts to donate to good causes. We have certifications that show our excellence, like ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018. Our services include easy pick-up options, strong security for data, and detailed reports.

In today’s world, many people and businesses often get new technology for different reasons, but their old stuff can still be useful. We believe in the power of “reuse,” which means using things again instead of throwing them away. This helps the environment and benefits communities. Our main goal is to reduce electronic waste through computer recycling, laptop recycling, and donating computers. We have locations in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskaoon, Winnipeg, Montreal, Toronto, and most recently Halifax making it easy and secure to recycle old electronics.
