St.Lawrence College & ERA Partners For An Event in Kingston

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), Footprint, Enactus St. Lawrence College student volunteers, and community members are partnering for an Electronics Collection Drive in Kingston Ontario.  

The community of Kingston, Ontario is welcome to de-clutter their homes and offices of unused or unwanted devices.  Just bring them to the collection event at the St. Lawrence College front parking lot.  After the event the ERA technicians will ensure that data from your devices is securely removed, operational equipment is refurbished for reuse, and the rest is recycled in a responsible manner.

Location:  St. Lawrence College, Kingston campus, the Parking lot at 100 Portsmouth Avenue

Time: 10:00 am-3:00 pm

The following devices are what we accept: 

  • Consumer Electronics (gaming consoles, iPods and mp3 players, stereo equipment etc)
  • Desktop Computers (PC & Mac, monitors, parts, motherboards etc)
  • Handheld devices (smartphones, cell phones, tablets etc)
  • Laptops (PC & Mac, docking stations, parts, cables etc)
  • Printers (Inkjet & Laserjet, plotters, copiers, scanners, fax machines etc)
  • Peripherals (Keyboards, mice, CD/DVD ROMs, cards, accessories etc)
  • Phone Systems
  • Racks and miscellaneous (Server racks, lab equipment, disk arrays etc)
  • Servers (Rackmount, stand-alone, all brands etc)
  • Software (operating system, editing, design etc)
  • Specialty items (Cisco networking, switches, routers etc)
