On March 25th, 2023 the Surrey RCMP & Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) partnered together to help the community of Surrey, BC protect their private information through data destruction.
We held an electronics collection and data shredding event at the Guildford Town Centre where citizens came to donate unwanted electronic devices such as hard drives, computers, laptops, phones, tablets, tapes and other small devices storing sensitive data. Citizens of Surrey where able to securely destroyed OR wiped clean and re-used for FREE in support of Fraud Prevention Month.
