By electronic recycling association July 17, 2026

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA), in partnership with Madagascar Fanantenana Teknolojia (MFT), recently completed a laptop donation in Madagascar to support education, digital inclusion, and community development.

ERA and MFT donated four laptops to the AINA Centre and the MALAZA Orphanage, organizations that provide essential support to homeless children, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable community members.

Laptop Donation in Madagascar Expands Digital Access

The donated laptops will provide beneficiaries with access to digital tools, educational resources, and new learning opportunities. They will also help young people develop important computer skills and become more confident using technology.

In today’s connected world, access to reliable technology is essential for education, communication, and personal development. This laptop donation in Madagascar will help reduce the digital divide and give children and community members valuable tools to learn, grow, and reach their potential.

The AINA Centre and MALAZA Orphanage carry out important work every day to support vulnerable populations. ERA and MFT are proud to recognize their commitment and contribute technology that can strengthen their educational and community programs.

Supporting Reuse Before Recycling

This initiative reflects ERA’s commitment to reuse before recycling. By refurbishing and donating functional electronics through trusted partners such as MFT, ERA extends the useful life of technology, reduces electronic waste, and supports communities in need.

Through international technology donation programs, ERA and MFT continue to create meaningful environmental and social impact while expanding access to education and digital resources.

Businesses and individuals can support ERA’s donation programs by donating unwanted laptops, computers, smartphones, and other electronic equipment. Reusable devices may be refurbished and donated to charities, schools, nonprofit organizations, and community programs.
