This International E-Waste Day, Coastal Action and the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) are inviting the Mahone Bay community to give unwanted technology a new purpose.
Join us on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, for an Electronics Collection Event at the Mahone Bay Centre and help keep electronics in use and out of the waste stream.
This community event makes it easy for residents and local organizations to give unwanted technology a second life while supporting responsible electronics reuse and recycling.

What Electronics Can You Bring?
Participants are encouraged to bring unwanted or unused electronics, including laptops, desktop computers, monitors, tablets, cell phones, printers, servers, gaming consoles, computer accessories, and other electronics.
ERA prioritizes reuse whenever possible. Reusable devices are refurbished and provided to charities, nonprofits, schools, and community organizations in need. Electronics that cannot be reused are handled responsibly through ERA’s recycling process.
Secure and Responsible Electronics Recycling
Old electronics can contain personal or business information, making secure data handling an important part of responsible disposal. ERA provides secure data handling while helping keep reusable technology in circulation longer.
By participating, Mahone Bay residents can clear out unwanted electronics, support the circular economy, and help technology find a new purpose in the community.
