ERA and NTT DATA advance digital inclusion through partnership

By electronic recycling association October 23, 2026

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) and NTT DATA are working together to reduce electronic waste and improve access to technology in communities across Canada.

Supporting communities through technology

NTT DATA supports ERA by giving corporate technology a second life and helping people who face barriers to digital access.

One major project provided 65 laptops to the Vancouver Aboriginal Child and Family Services Society (VACFSS). The donation gave Indigenous children and families better access to essential digital tools.

Reducing waste and expanding access

ERA and NTT DATA combine environmental action with practical support for communities.

ERA refurbishes and redistributes corporate technology. This work keeps electronics out of landfills and gives more people access to devices for education, work and community programs.

Building on the partnership

ERA values NTT DATA’s continued support. The organizations plan to build on their partnership and find new ways to promote sustainability and digital inclusion across Canada.

Together, ERA and NTT DATA are turning used technology into new opportunities for Canadian communities.
