The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is pleased to share the donation of four laptops through its partnership with the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre (CCLC), helping newcomer families access essential technology as they build their lives in Canada.
This donation is part of ERA’s ongoing commitment to digital inclusion, technology reuse, and supporting communities across Canada.
Supporting Newcomer Families Through Technology
The London Cross Cultural Learner Centre provides valuable settlement services and resources to newcomers and their families, helping them adjust to life in Canada and access opportunities in their new communities.
Through this collaboration, ERA provided four laptops to help families stay connected and access important digital resources.
Having a reliable computer can make a meaningful difference in everyday life, whether it’s helping children with school assignments, accessing online learning, searching for employment, or communicating with essential services.
By extending the useful life of technology, ERA helps make these opportunities more accessible while reducing electronic waste.
Giving Technology a Second Life
At ERA, we believe that technology still has value long after its first owner no longer needs it.
Through our Computer Donation Program, ERA works with charities, schools, nonprofit organizations, and community partners to provide reusable computers and laptops to those who need them.
Each device that can be reused helps reduce electronic waste while supporting digital accessibility across Canadian communities.
Thank You to the Cross Cultural Learner Centre!
ERA would like to extend a special thank you to Galyna Volkova and the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre team for their collaboration, coordination, and dedication to supporting newcomer families.
We are grateful for the opportunity to work together and help provide technology to families who can benefit from it.
We look forward to continuing this partnership and supporting more individuals and families through future technology donations.
