Laptop Donation Strengthens Christian Training in Madagascar

By electronic recycling association July 17, 2026

The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) and Madagasikara Fanantenana Teknolojia (MFT) are proud to work together to expand access to technology and support education in Madagascar.

In collaboration with Pastor Ravelomanantsoa, ERA and MFT recently donated 10 laptops to a Christian training school. The school guides and prepares individuals who feel called to become mpitandrina, or pastors and ministry leaders.

The donated laptops will give students greater access to digital tools for biblical studies, academic work, teaching preparation, and future service within their churches and communities.

Supporting Faith-Based Education Through Technology

Reliable computers can strengthen many areas of Christian education.

First, students can use the laptops to study the Bible and access Christian and educational resources. In addition, they can prepare sermons, lessons, presentations, and written assignments more efficiently.

The devices will also help students conduct research, organize notes, communicate with instructors, and develop practical digital skills.

As a result, future ministry leaders will have better tools to support their education and prepare for their responsibilities within the Church.

Supporting Future Ministry Leaders

For students preparing for Christian ministry, access to technology can support both education and future community service.

Students can use the laptops to prepare teaching materials, explore faith-based resources, organize programs, and communicate more effectively. Consequently, the impact of this donation may extend beyond the classroom to churches, families, and local communities.

Creating Impact Through Partnership

ERA and MFT thank Pastor Ravelomanantsoa and everyone who helped make this donation possible.

Partnerships play an important role in expanding access to technology. By working together, organizations, donors, and community leaders can place working electronics into the hands of people who will use them for education, service, and long-term community development.

Through technology reuse, ERA and MFT continue to support learning, strengthen communities, and give electronic equipment a valuable second life.
